I’m a GPhC-registered pharmacist (Reg. No. 2238905) with over a decade of experience across the UK and the Middle East, and more than 15 years of problem-solving experience across pharmacy, education, science, and healthcare systems. I operate through Shamnova Limited, offering pharmacy, consultation, and interpretation services to NHS trusts, private organisations, and pharmacies across England, Scotland, and Wales.
I specialise in community pharmacy leadership, where I’ve successfully delivered essential and advanced NHS services — including Pharmacy First, CPCS, minor ailment prescribing under PGDs, and emergency contraception. I’ve led day-to-day pharmacy operations, supervised teams, ensured regulatory compliance, and managed patient flow during high-demand periods. My focus is on delivering safe, effective care while supporting business performance through intelligent workflow management and service delivery.
I am known for my excellent time management and planning skills — I anticipate how long tasks will take, prioritise actions based on urgency and impact, and keep workflows efficient even under pressure. I work with structure, logic, and flexibility, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly, on time, and to a high standard.
My strengths also include clear communication, active listening, and emotional attentiveness. I build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and prescribers alike. I naturally create a calm, solution-focused environment, and I support team members in building confidence, clinical clarity, and professional growth.
As a left-handed individual with strong visual-spatial thinking and creative logic, I often bring alternative perspectives to challenges. I simplify complexity, spot patterns others may miss, and offer efficient, sustainable solutions. These qualities have supported my success in both frontline practice and in contributing to project management within a company of over 3,000 employees — including audits, service redesign, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
In parallel with pharmacy, I offer Arabic–English interpretation and translation services in medical, legal, and media contexts. Growing up in Saudi Arabia among multilingual Arabic-speaking communities, I speak most dialects fluently and can communicate moderately with North African variants such as Moroccan, Algerian, and Tunisian. I use this experience to support inclusive healthcare access, particularly for underserved and linguistically marginalised patients.
I regularly travel across the UK for work — using my own vehicle, public transport, or domestic flights — and I’m always flexible with client needs. My international experience in Syria, Italy, Spain, UAE, KSA, and the USA adds depth to my approach, enabling me to work confidently with diverse teams and deliver reliable, trusted services wherever I go.
Outside of work, I’m a committed family man with strong ties to both my local and professional communities. I thrive on growth, opportunity, and challenge, and I approach every role with honesty, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose.
